This is my theme song for the day. You better turn it on and listen the whole way through and bob your head to the rhythm, or beware MY WRATH….
Look at me.

And a bad bad hair day…. Note, however, the sparkly piggy paint nail polish on my stubby nails. I was so miserable this evening, I stole it from the Monkey and started polishing MADLY. It’s amazing how civilized nail polish can make you feel (it’s only been 80 years since I last wore any) — even if it’s piggy paint. No one has to know….
A bad bad day.
This one’s driving me nuts….
And this one’s been waking me up at 4am….
…and this one (on the right) at 4:30am….
I’m exhausted and frazzled with back-to-school, and my beloved part-time nanny on hiatus for a couple of weeks, and Rosh Hashana, and the Toronto International Film Festival (which I’m proud to be going to as Press, but all ALONE!?), and a birthday party to plan for the Rascal, and the Monkey’s, erm, art projects all over the house….
And Pillars of the Earth is over, and I have headache, and I ate ketchup for dinner, and head is throbbing above right eyebrow, slight twitches in left eyelid and right side of upper lip. Snarrrrl.
At least I still have Bachelor Pad….
And MARGE….
I’m going to bed. With Marge.
Think of me at 4am…. When you’re sleeping soundly and I’m running furiously down the stairs to get Rascal fresh water. Aaaargh!
Love!

You’re really funny when you’re having a bad day.
This time of year really does feel relentless. Hope it calms down for you soon. Shana Tova!

Must be something in the air…Peanut has been waking up at 2am to crawl into bed with us…then Punkin needs to pee at 4am…6am the alarm goes off…kill me now-I declared 2010 the year of my sleep…apparently I forgot to tell Abigail and Audrey!

Oh Haley it does feel like a whirlwind of late! Get some rest anyway you can, if you are like me, getting rest is the only way to keep my sanity.

nailpolish on my toes makes me feel so much more sophisticated….but a color on my fingers seems so overwhelmingly colored and blinds me that I usually must immediately take it off again. Besides, I suck so much at polishing that I’ve been told I might as well dip my fingers in the bottle rather than using the little brush :p

BACHELOR PAD?!? Say it ain’t so, Haley!
I mean, even my wife – the most devoted fan of that franchise’s tripe – can’t stand that show.

I like the Rascal’s little shoes. Adopting a dog is a nice idea… but dogs come with some strange baggage at times. We adopted a dog last December and he seems to get weirder every day. We love him though (most of the time).

Aw, hon, so sorry you had a bad day. I too haven’t worn polish in a bazillion years… I don’t remember how it made me feel. Oh, babe, I hear you about the art projects all over the house! And I was up at 2am early this morn getting Lam fresh water, and I couldn’t get back to sleep after that. I totally hear your pain! LOL

Poor you
BW is way too cute! How can you say she’s driving you nuts?
I can’t believe how big the Rascal is getting! When did he stretch out?
I hope life settles down for you soon.

So much for a “bad hair day” – I think you look fantastic
