He’s doing okay….

His sister MARRRRGE! is also doing okay. I’d post a picture, but she’s a little hard to catch these days. Sprier than usual. Both cats seem a bit relieved that Tigger’s gone — as if they knew she was suffering. Either that or they’re happy they get more of me for themselves.

Am I still a cat lady if I only have two cats now, though? I feel so, SO different. Almost like a normal person. Alas. But I’ll always be a cat lady inside, right?

Anyway, I’ve had the busiest weekend of my life, hosting a birthday party for Monkey WITH 25 kids of various ages. Originally, I thought NO ONE was coming. But, then the-week-before-the-party arrived, and EVERYONE RSVP’d “YES.”

And, then there was this evening’s festivities: monkey’s friend’s birthday party with the CLOWN. Only two children screamed in fear. Not bad. Not bad. She was a bit of an angry clown with only a hint of alcohol on her person. But, the kids liked her, and they loved her truly fancy magic tricks and balloon animals.

Why am I telling you all this? Because I owe you another BLOGHER post. Part II. The TIM GUNN edition. But, I’ve been through a lot the past few days, as you know. And this is all I got.

In the meantime, I leave you this little piece of cat parenting advice for which you will thank me (cat lady extraordinaire) one day: NEVER LET YOUR CAT STAND ABOVE YOU OR YOU WILL LOSE ALL POWER IN THE RELATIONSHIP….
