I’m not perfect either…isn’t it refreshing to be able to admit that. On the road to becoming authentic, a person has to step off the perfectionism trail. I think it is awesome that your eyes are opening up to so many of these things…it’s freeing.

Any yeah I don’t understand the pink, princess, dresses thing either…a couple of my girls were that way and it drove this former tom boy crazy…but then I had my own tom boy and she drove me crazy too for a time.

And I am definetly not a morning person!

Oh, I hear you. I’ve never striven for perfection – largely because I never thought I could even appear to be – but I still spent all of yesterday vaguely stressed out that I’d posted a picture of my grungy cutting board. Good people have unstained cutting boards, you see.

I have to say I can relate on the pink, pink, pink, and princess…… issue. I was such a tomboy as a kid (and pretty much as an adult, too), but my daughter morphed into a 4 year old who only wants to wear dresses and who describes clothes I pick for her as “too boyish.” Where did she come from?
