Love the hardwood floors in the Yoga Room. They look very much like the floors in my new house that seem like they are NEVER going to be installed!!! Oh that place looks amazing. I am trying to plan our summer getaway and it is driving me a bit nutts (way to wait till the last minute Chantal). Do you think your father in law would mind if we just showed up at his place for the weekend!

Glad you had a relaxing time. Since I grew up on a big farm with beef cows, milking cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, turkeys, along with various crops, I have NO desire to ever live on a farm again. We lived in the middle of no where and all we did is work. I had lots of cousins that came to the “farm” for vacations and visits and they would have a hell of a time. They loved helping feed the baby calves or other animals. Seriously, they would all say they wanted to move there and I would tell them that they did not.

Granted it probally was beautiful…lots of trees, rivers, lakes…but as a kid I didn’t appreciate it. Now I still live in the middle of no where but in a small farming community. I appreciate the beauty of where I live but honestly seeing cows or other farm animals, all I see is work even though I don’t have to do it anymore. My hubby loves to tease me by saying were going to buy a farm. HELL NO!

But, I do understand that people that grew up or live in the city would enjoy the peacefulness of the country. I do like our peaceful life for the most part. I’m glad that you and your family had a great time!
