Let’s take a break from the chaos that is my life right now. It’s a wonder I have hair left on my head because all this crying and clinging and pants-pulling-down (yes, my pants, in public) is wearing me thin and making me want to just rip out every last strand. Ahhhhh. Bliss. Ohhhmmm.

A-ny-way, aside from those yummy sundrops, my other best friend right now is So You Think You Can Dance.

You’ll know the move when you see it…. AND, by the way, yes, this was the best Staying Alive vid I could find, alas…. OH OH OH! And, BY THE WAY, after watching tons of Staying Alive clips to find you the best one…, I’m now officially in LUST with the young John Travolta….)
11. JENNIFER LOPEZ (Don’t shoot me for this. She’s one of the original Flygirls! And, she’s a fabulous dancer, I THINK.)

Well my daughter of course! LOL Little DQ (dancing queen..or drama queen…but not dairy queen). After all that money we pay for her dance lessons and competition teams, plus she’s a rawk star!

I used M&M’s for potty training too. I didn’t give a crap about the “bribe” argument and it worked wonders.

hmm I don’t pay too much attention to dancers really. Although I went to see ballet when I was in Moscow and it was absolutely stunning!
I agree with Blondeblogger that Shakira is a very good dancer.

Wow, interesting list!
My poor husband has been forced to watch all of Gene Kelly AND Fred Astaire’s movies with me (although I MUCH prefer Fred), and so now I have someone to talk about their dancing with. HAHAHA.
Bribing is the ONLY thing I’ve found that works for potty training!

A bit off topic but I watched the Staying Alive video and two things surprised me:
1) Written by Sylvester Stallone? I didn’t know that although I knew he wrote Rocky.
2) The dad from That 70’s show was the guy running the dance tryout and he looks as stern in Staying Alive as on the show.

I too love SYTYCD! My daughter (a dancer) and I are glued to it every summer. I LOVE ANY dance that Mia Michaels or Shane Sparks choreograph! They are awesome!

I am going to have to add Savion Glover. I am so not a fan of tap dancing - but the speed this man can move his feet at always shocks me.
