Whole body hurts from
Too much Passover food.
It sits in your stomach
For hours upon hours
Upon hours upon hours
Leaving you wordless and
Unable to write and
PISSED OFF because you wrote
Something totally beautiful
And poetic, like,
PU-LI-TZER,
And WordPress went and erased the whole dang thing because you pressed the BACK BUTTON by accident and the dang thing WOULDN’T SAVE AUTOMATICALLY!
But I’m not bitter
Or anything. And, I’m sorry but I can’t for the life of me remember the GOLD that USED TO BE this post.
So, you’ll just have to take
My Big-Brother-bible word for it. I wrote
MOST brillers post ever written WITH
Naked pictures of myself.
Sorry.
Can’t get it back.
No brillers words.
No Cheaty Naked.
But, I may have a picture of
Minden somewhere around here.
Oh, yes! It’s your lucky day….
Happened to find this….

If you love the way he LOOKS! Wait ’till you hear this guy TALK…. Purrrs like a LAWN freakin MOWER. I love it. Josh? — notsomuch….
Before I fall asleep with FIRST AND SECOND SEDER food sitting (not-so) pretty in my stomach, I will give you this: the highlights and the lowlights of my trip to Montreal this weekend. We went to Montreal for Josh’s family’s first Passover Seder. Here’s a pic (because I took one):

The table….

Monkey and her Zaidy making Charoset.
And, we came back here to Toronto for my parents’ seder (this evening), which I was WAY TOO TIRED to take pics of. I basically just sat on my arse the whole time packing Matza-this and Matza-that in my mouth — and, when not stuffing my face, I was stuffing me BIG BOOOOOOOBIE in Rascal’s trap. Talk about GLAM! A-NY-WAY, here we go….
LOWLIGHTS OF MONTREAL TRIP:
First, still not quite over trauma of being in car for 6 hours with two little monkeys. The trip home today involved hours of Rascal screaming like a tween at a Justin Timberlake concert. Can you say, “CRYING”? (That would be ME crying). We had to stop about three times so I could shut him up feed him.
Second, Monkey must have said “Mama,” oh, about 10 THOUSAND MILLION times on the trip home today…. For example, “look at the trees, Mama!” “C’I wake up Rascal, Mama?” “C’I have more matza, Mama?” and, of course, “LOOK A’ DIS, MAMA!”:

…and, “C’you ged it off, Mama?”
Last lowlight, but not least (of course)…. I missed my Minot….

HIGHLIGHTS OF MONTREAL TRIP:
OF course, it was great to see Josh’s family — all of whom went NUTS over my wee ones, and what mother doesn’t revel in THAT!?
Could have done without the (LOWLIGHT) strange woman in Starbucks leaving her coral lipstick on my rascal’s wee hand — yeah, the one he sucks on — but, otherwise, LOVED the DOTING ON all weekend long. And, yes, Josh’s family does a MEAN sing-a-long.
Definite highlight for me was finally realizing just who my FAVOURITE designer is.
It’s not Chanel or Christian Dior or even Calvin Klein…. No. IT’S BETSEY JOHNSON! I made this very important realization when we drove by the Betsy Johnson BOUTIQUE (did YOU know they had one in Montreal?!). I was BESIDE MYSELF. Check the LOVELY!

The bags!

The shoes!

The accessories!

The dresses! THE VERY REASON I’ve QUIT my Starbucks Chai-Tea Lattes AGAIN!

The BETSEY! LOVE! I’m SO doing a cartwheel in her honour as SOON as I digest all this Passover food. Which may be 2 years from now — gaging by the way I feel right now….

The monkey. Ohhhh, the monkey wanted this bag. But, erm, I didn’t THINK SO!
What did I buy? Nothing. The store not only made me realize that Betzey’s my fave designer, but also that I REALLY want to lose my last 25 preggo pounds before I spend ANY kind of money (let alone THAT kind of money) on clothes for myself….
What did Josh buy? An ED HARDY T-shirt from the trendy store Influence-U….

Do you LOVE IT!? It took me a while to get used to, but now I think it’s awesome….
Oh, Gorgeouses, I’m afraid I’ve run out of steam. Matza has taken it’s toll. Eyes are crossing from exhaustion…. Until tomorrow, I bid you, a……zzzzzz.

Goodnight Moon…. (view from Bubby and Zaidy’s apartment….definite highlight…. Taken while alone outside, with Rascal in my arms….)

For what it’s worth, I think this post rocks the world too. It’s so much fun reading about how you spend your holiday and how you shopped. And that’s a awesome view!

I love Betsey Johnson too. But, yeah, a little expensive. Still LOVE!

Shalom! I had intended to stop by and send good wishes before, but as usually I totally spaced it out. (can I still blame the hair color even though I have like 1 inch roots now?)
Sorry your food is sitting like a rock…I was wondering how you do the seder when you don’t eat lamb…we did one at our Church once. I hope I’ll be able to find one for DD to do when she’s older…I really think every Christian should experience it at least once since of course Jesus was Jew too.
Hope the little guy allowed you to sleep and dream about those fab clothes.

We’re planning a trip out east to see my DH’s family in May. I’m already crossing my fingers that the 5 hours will speed by. It was much easier with only one child that I could sit beside and entertain.
Sounds like a fab weekend!
