Those are definatly Iris’. The tubers shouldn’t be covered with soil…the more they are exposed, the more likely you will see beautiful flowers.

Once you are wearing the crocs it can’t get any worse! If I don’t wear socks they rub on my feet. and sometimes…

They look like Irises to me. I had a bunch growing in my side yard when I bought my house (in February several years ago), and not knowing what they were when they started growing in early spring and wanting to plant vegetables where they were, I dug them up, really chopping and hacking them apart, and transplanted them. Then I did it again a couple years later. They are super hardy. Glad the rascal is better! JMC's last blog post..Color analysis - have you had YOUR colors done?
