I don’t mean to comment waaaaayyyy past the post date… but I ordered Skinny Bitch from the library, picked it up on Saturday and have nearly finished reading it. I feel kind of frozen… should I follow what they say? Should I refrain from feeding my children meat? I think I should… but I don’t want to make that kind of choice for them. This book is awesome but awful at the same time… I wonder if things are as bad in the Canadian food industry as they are in the American food industry. Unbelievable stuff.

Is it wrong I can't stop singing I think I'm turning Japanesea now? That was your title right, the beat of that song, or have I just lost my damn mind. Also, I'm a vegetarian too! Yay. Have been for like 12 years now (minus a couple sneaky hot dogs that jumped in my mouth) I have some kick ass recipes I can share some day if your interested. Good for you! My middle child and I are almost there, but not quite yet. My boyfriend is vegan and I'm sure that combining households later this year will be the push we need to become fully vegetarian. I don't think I can go full vegan because I do like some dairy. I have been a vegetarian for years and did it for health reasons. I have never ever felt better. It’s also great for the environment … there’s been tons of studies that it is one of the biggest things you can do to help global warming (more than buying a hybrid car or turning your house solar panel or recycling etc).

My hubster is still a meat eater and I am not a veggie-preacher but I am really glad about my choice.

And veggies are hawt!!

I like meat. Mmmm. Meat, meat, meat. Bring on the meat! I think animals were put on the earth to help sustain man. But that is just me. I am an animal lover too, and it does bother me from time to time, but not enough to make me not like meat. I do understand that side of it, though. I do think it is strange that celebs try to "promote" being a vegetarian. WTH? Why are they always trying to make people do what they do? Just weird.
