Pictures are BACK. Thank UNIVERSE. I was flipping yesterday. Isn’t it funny that only a small percentage of Photobucketeers were affected by the server downage and I WAS PART OF THAT SMALL PERCENTAGE? Ahem. Hilarious. I need that like my arse needs a Chai Tea Latte…! But, we’re over it.
And, we got pictures again….
So….
You tell me. What’s HILARIOUSLY wrong with this Double Bubble comic my sister’s hubby got with his gum the other day?

Ahem. Did you get it? Are you ON THE FLOOR? Are you ROTFLYAO??? LOL? LOL? I cried laughing when I saw this.
And, since we are seriously in need of pictures…. We are IN PICTURE WITHDRAWAL! I give you these….
Lock up your daughters! Rascal’s a li’l hottie! Squeeee-hee!

I’m FINALLY dressing him in clothes now, and LOOK HOW BIG he looks! He’s a regular little mensch! I’m CRAZY about him (obviouuuus).
I’m also crazy about my little monkey (also obviouuuus). Every time we hang out, I feel like we fall deeper in love. Since it was FREEZING outside today, we spent the entire day inside together. It was just the monkey, me and the rascal (and Josh-O, who was in bed sick all day, but that’s another story — which I’m guessing you DON’T want to hear), and, since somebody no longer naps…, I was forced to entertain her FOR HOURS AND HOURS.
We started off with a dance class. Ms. Thang does a MEAN “bird” (and so does the monkey…). Then, we played with stickers, ate lunch, played with our new Thomas trains, argued about watching Ratatouille AGAIN….
She’s obsessed with Ratatouille; she takes her Remy doll everywhere we go. Here, she dances with him at the bookstore…. The foot to the bottom right is Josh-O’s (and that’s NEED-TO-KNOW information)….

Then, we read books, sang songs, played with our instruments, and then…, THEN, I got REALLY ambitious….
HAAAARRRR! It’s arts-and-crafts time at the O house!

Yes, I took out the glue, the sparkles, the shapes, EVERYTHING. She made an utter mess, but she loved it. And, I was able to take a little break….to eat a crumb of something and nurse the rascal…AGAIN.
The nursing is constant and endless….
And, the BEST DRESSED CELEBRITY OF 2007 (and of ALL TIME — obviouuus) IS……. THE CHEATY MONKEY….

She loves to dress herself…. LOOK AT HER! Couldn’t you just? Can you stand it? Kids are so freaking hilarious. Who needs SCANDALOUS Double Bubble comics when you have THIS to laugh at?

Gossip awaits you here….
Love!

Holy crap, the Rascal is getting big!!!
And the Monkey is stylin’!!! I love the pink shoes and those funky pants. They so … er … um … match!

Haley-O, your babies are so cute and stylish! Isn’t it amazing how babies looks bigger when they’re not dressed like babies in onesies?
I didn’t even notice photobucket’s blink. I was burried in Jessica Bird novels. Me and my little guilty pleasure. Actually, it’s not so little..I finished 86 books in 2007

Hiya
Thanks so much for the best fashion photo ever! I just had me such a good and much-needed laugh. Cheaty dresses just like me!
And the Rascal … oh what can I say, except I do believe he is really starting to look like his father.
Glad you’ve got your pics again.
Later …

The Rascal’s shirt? Priceless.
The Monkey’s look? Priceless.
The comic? Senseless.

Ok, now we have to come for arts and crafts and dance class at your house!
I LOVE the rascal’s shirt! ADORABLE.
Adele said, January 4th, 2008 at 7:48 am
Is it as hard for you, as it is for me, to get out the arts n crafts. My kids love to paint, and I cringe everytime they ask, but to have a hour of quietness, and to see what they prodcue, is so worth it.
Love the kids shirts!

Har!
My kids love crafting, and they especially love glitter, which means that my house frequently looks like it’s been trashed by drunken fairies.
What cuties your children are!

hey! i wore that outfit to work today!
lauraldawn said, January 4th, 2008 at 8:33 am
That is the cutest outfit ever!!! That’s what I love about little kids’ clothing choices. If I wore that I’d be laughed at. With her … just adorable!
I have to admit, we’ve started crafting in our house – glitter, stickers, paint, all of it. Matt loves it, and I figure why not. It’s really messy though.

Great post, Haley! You had me laughing at the comic strip! I used to collect those Double Bubbly Funnies when I was a kid…even though the gum was horrible! LOL!
Oh, and your kiddies are ADORABLE! Love the t-shirt your little boy is sporting! Very cute!
Last time I popped by your blog, you were still expecting the arrival of your second baby. Belated congratulations and Happy New Year!

Hey Haley,
How is the sleep coming along for you ? You haven’t mentionned it in a while so better ?
That rascal is really cute ! Even if we don’t get head shots, I find the Monkey is really changing and growing up
The comic is…something else !

Urgh. That would be *Double Bubble!
Love the monkey’s outfit!LOL! Toooooooooooo cute! My mom said that when I was a kid, she dreaded letting me pick out my own outfits because I used to put on EVERY single colour in the rainbow! That’s right…a bright blue t-shirt, one pink sock, one red sock, red Fame pants (don’t know if you remember that TV show in the 80′s…Fame! I’m gonna live forever! I’m gonna learn how to fly. High…) and a banana yellow vinyl belt. Right. No wonder my mom looked horrified! LOL! Hey, I was a kid and I liked colour.

Okay, I’m gonna be the first dork to say I’m not quite sure what the real funny part of the comic is. Is it because it says, Starring Pud? I hope so, because that made me laugh. But then again, I’m a loser who giggles over potty and body part humor.
Kathryn said, January 4th, 2008 at 12:19 pm
OMG! The little rascal looks so cute in that shirt! What a little man. I love that shirt.
I have the same outfit as your cheaty monkey.

I feel like I got my dose of smiles today, thanks Haley! Rascal’s shirt is tdf, he is ridiculously cute! I am so impressed that you let her play with glue. and glitter! Wow! I hate craft time, I avoid it as much as possible!
Monkey is so adorable, I love the frilly heels, so sweet. Oh and I would pay big bucks to see you in that getup Ali!

I love Rascals’ socks!!!And Monkey looks outstanding – love the shoes of course!
I don’t get the comic either…sorry…feel like a loser admitting that.
My kids love PLAY-DO, which is fine with me for some free time but hubby hates it. He usually ends up throwing it away & then I buy more – he he he!

HAPPY NEW YEAR HALES!!

Cheaty’s fashion statement reminded me of this country song, My Front Porch Lookin’ In by Lonestar. The chorus is:
There’s a carrot top who can barely walk
With a sippy cup of milk
A little blue eyed blonde with shoes on wrong
‘Cause she likes to dress herself
And the most beautiful girl holding both of them
And the view I love the most
Is my front porch looking in
bubandpie said, January 6th, 2008 at 8:26 am
Explain the comic! I command thee!
Also, I love that falling-in-love feeling after the second baby is born, when the rare opportunity to spend one-on-one time with the older child becomes such a treat.
