Need an AMAZING hair straightener, Gorgeouses? I was privileged enough to get my very own ADVANCED copy of Conair’s new INFINITY NANO SILVER to review, and I LOVED IT! Cheaty highly recommended it OVER HERE…. Go on, check it! There are funny-looking pics of me there. Don’t worry, go on OVER THERE. I’ll wait right here for you to come back. Yeah, I’ll just sit here and twiddle my square thumbs, or, better yet, fondle my SOFT, FRESHLY STRAIGHTENED LOCKS….. Mmmmm…. Niiice.
So, lovely GORGEOUSES, I have TWO INFINITY NANO SILVER hair straighteners to give away!
All you have to do is tell me what your FAVOURITE hair product is in the comments. It can be shampoo or hairspray or brushes, accessories, even just tips. Like sleeping in braids! If I were 10 years old, my tip would be to sleep in braids to get that freshly permed look EVERYONE is going for…ahem….

RULES OF THE CONTEST?: There ARE NO RULES. Even people who are remotely related to me or the peeps at CONAIR can apply! Even people who have won previous contests can apply (lucky byotches)! Oh, but, of course, only one comment per Gorgeous.
I’ll let Monkey open the contest: “SET READY GO!!!!!”
The contest will be open until 6pm Sunday, August 3rd. GOOD LUCK!

My fave hair product would be L’occitane’s shampoo and conditioner. I don’t remember the exact name for it though.
Anonymouse July 23rd, 2008 at 8:20 am
I want the straightener! My new favorite product is my velcro rollers.

Me! Me! Pick me!
Favorite hair product for me-Whatever the stylist puts in after getting my hair cut. She does some amazing things with stuff she calls “snot”. I really should find out what it is.
Favorite hair product for my daughter-Suave detangler spray and got2b defiant pomade. The pomade keeps her braids from sticking in different directions. We also use it to “dirty” her hair so curl will stay in. Works great on spiking the boys hair, too!
Laurie July 23rd, 2008 at 9:38 am
My curly/wavy hair needs some training! My current fav hair product is spray-in gel, so I can just scrunch-and-go!
Tug July 23rd, 2008 at 11:47 am
Hales, I SO need one of these so I don’t look like I’m walking around with pubes on my forehead - LOL. I’ve been using some kind of surf pomade on my hair, but I’m trying to grow it out & that just won’t work…

Oooh!! I recently cut my hair off, and am in need of an awesome straightener! My fave product is Frizz-Ease thermo-protect serum, makes my hair very smooth and shiny when I actually bother to blow dry it
Heather July 23rd, 2008 at 3:32 pm
My crazy curls would love a change! Since the arrival of children in my life, my favorite hair product is the elastic….although I just got a killer hair cut for 10 bucks on my vacation in Florida and I love it so much, I’ve been wearing it down!
Tena July 23rd, 2008 at 6:00 pm
Want to hear something totally sad… my favorite hair care product would be the hair stylist who makes me hair look good for two days, and than it is back to blahville! My hair is a mess, that I have no clue what to do with it, but I have been eye balling a *nice* straightner for some time, but…. at last, mommy never gets anything for herself!

Oh I could use this! Since I first got pregnant my bone straight hair now has seriously wonky waves… on ONE side! I’m trying to start a new trend but alas no one is following it!! My new trick is leaving any yummy smelling conditioner in it after I wash it (I only but them if they smell like I would eat it!). That leaves it a bit smoother… what not to do. Go to be with wet hair!! When will I learn?

Marie-Christine July 23rd, 2008 at 8:44 pm
Ohhhhh! I want that Infinity Nano Silver thingy! My hair straightener is rubbish
I am a little lazy on the hair side and my hair is like really long and a little curly, a little straight, so I don’t use any products in it… BUT one thing I do every morning is that I spray some grapefruit body mist in it! I matches my summer perfume and it makes my hair smell YUMMY!
Thanks a lot Haley for the contest, it’s so exciting!
Laura July 23rd, 2008 at 11:44 pm
I need to use a spray-in/leave-in conditioner every morning (currently Infusium). I have very frizzy hair and would desperately love this straightener - it always feels so great when my hairdresser straightens my hair!
Lesley July 24th, 2008 at 2:21 am
I never blowdry my hair and my hairdresser said that by being that lazy I’m actually doing my hair a favour by not tormenting it with heat. Instead I just dry it to a frizz with highlights
My fave product is Silk by Bio-Silk (I think). It’s really greasy but for days when I’m just at home I’m lube my hair up with it and it just makes it feel so smooth and not dry and frizzy.
I love how you ask everyone for tips and tricks…I got a ton of great advice from the makeup one.
Thanks Hales!

I want it! I want it!
My hair straighter is no good and I’m desperately searching!
As far as tips, my hair is crazy curly and I have found that leaving a tiny bit of conditioner in at the end of my shower makes it much more managable and not so frizzy. Must be careful not to leave too much in though… you don’t want to look greasy.
Did I mention I want it?!?!
chelle July 24th, 2008 at 6:27 am
GASP!!!!!! I so so want to be entered for this! I have crazy curly hair and now live next to an OCEAN!
I use JASON shampoo and condition and not only is it super for the environment it leaves my hair soft and frizz free (almost!)

Steph July 24th, 2008 at 8:25 am
My best tip is to let your hair air dry 75% and THEN blow dry. It will make your hair super soft and protect it from being damaged from excessive heat and brushing while wet. Try it! I have crazy not straight and not curly hair and have yet to find a great straightener. It’s Conair so it’s gotta be great!
Tracey July 24th, 2008 at 8:38 am
If I don’t win this I will shave my head bald =-P
My favorite hair product is the conditioner that comes in home hair dye. Problem is I don’t dye my own hair. I one bribed a store clerk into selling me 10 of those tiny tubes for $20 bux on the sly. Nothing works like those teeny little tubes.
Dawn July 24th, 2008 at 10:13 am
I so need a hair straightner, I recently cut off my hair. My hair tip is to never blow dry your hair completely, it is way too drying on your hair.
Marsha July 24th, 2008 at 11:00 am
My favorite hair product is conditioner. I don’t have a specific brand to recommend.
I remember sleeping in braids. I don’t think I would look quite as cute if I did that now!
LAVENDULA July 24th, 2008 at 11:33 am
hi Haley.sometimes i tie rags in my girls hair.leave it in overnight and in the morning they have adorable ringlets.my hair is soft and fine like a babys.yuck.i just need some light conditioner and let air dry so i have wavy hair.but it would look awesome super straight.
Michelle July 24th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
My favorite product is aveda’s curly gel. This totally tames the frizzes, that and a defusser (sp?) - I couldn’t live without it!!!!
Lauren July 24th, 2008 at 1:24 pm
I don’t mind if you don’t enter me in the draw; I won last time and am VERY MUCH enjoying my products from Pure & Simple!
I wanted to share my favorite hair products. First is Healthy Sexy Hair detoxifying pumpkin shampoo/conditioner. These smell like pumpkin pie…yummmmmm!
When I have a ton of time I use Re-coil by AG - scrunch a whole bunch into my very straight hair & blowdry with diffuser. It makes it wavy/curly which is quite a feat for my hair!
Jules July 24th, 2008 at 1:42 pm
I definitely need that straightener…my hair is starting to get grey and the grey hair is course and awful…and it sticks up and is crazy frizzy. NOT good…
My favorite product - hmmmm, not really sure but anything that calms the frizz…lately it’s this Aveda stuff in a little blue bottle.
Heather July 24th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
Schwarzkopf are my hair products. Thanks in advance for choosing me Haley
BlondeBlogger July 24th, 2008 at 2:44 pm

I wear my hair curly, and I use Kuehne Shaping Fibres to keep it from frizzing - love, love, love it!
Junction Mama July 24th, 2008 at 4:04 pm
My favourite product is Treemenda Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner. They give my hair shine and they smell yummy!
Shannon Young July 24th, 2008 at 5:27 pm
My favourite hair product is Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum…it is amazing for shiny straight hair after straightening or before blowdrying. LOVE IT!
Lori L. July 24th, 2008 at 5:51 pm
My favourite hair products are Pureology stuff goo, oil etc… smells good but is a bit expensive.
Andrea M July 24th, 2008 at 9:48 pm
Having thick curly/wavy hair that is almost foot and half long, my most needed hair product is conditioner. I am thrifty so I survive with my coveted Pantene Smooth Conditioner, for all the frizzes. I have yet to find a straightener that I can do in less then 30 minutes (that is with the pre-combing and blow-drying). This straightener sounds amazing because of steam. I am glad you are able to showcase this product that enriches hair.
Elizabeth July 25th, 2008 at 1:18 am

This is exciting! I could use one sooo bad. My fav product right now is my John Freida Flawless finishing creme. I just put a little on the ends of my hair and they don’t frizz. My hair stays shiny all day long!
Thanks for the great contest!

I love the Aveda Be Curly product line. Shampoo, conditioner, styling products - all of it.
Yes, I love my curly hair - so why would I enter to win a straightening iron? My baby sister wants one, so I would give it to her.

One of my favorite products is Re-coil by AG. My hair never holds curl but I can scrunch a bunch of this into wet hair and blowdry with a diffuser. Voila - I intstantly look like Faith Hill! (Ok, not really, but I like the curl I get from it!)
Romila July 25th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Hi Hayley,
My new fav product is Frizz-Ease thermo-protect serum. I have thick unruly black hair that looks like a birds nest most times and would love the new straightener!! My husband hates my hair when its curly and the CHEAPO straighteners just don’t do a good job. Thanks again for the class yesterday and I really really really really realy really (you get the point) really hope I win.
Sysha July 25th, 2008 at 12:24 pm
My favorite hair tip is to put it in a loose ponytail for about 20 minutes once it is completely dry after a washing… this trick never fails to smooth out my hair and make it look shinier when I finally take it out of the pony tail.
Also, I love Pureology volumizing shampoo and conditioner, even though it is RIDICULOUSLY expensive!
Beck July 25th, 2008 at 4:54 pm
Oh, I would LOVE that! My favorite hair accessory are those packages of teeny little elastics from the dollar store that I can just cut out of The Baby’s hair in the evening!

My favorite hair thing is a good defrizzer…it is dry here and our hair gets fly aways…and brittle ends. So a defrizzer (is that even a word?) helps me with both!
You rock!

I would love to try a great straightener - and these contests are so much fun! I love using a hair serum to make mine silky and with a lot of shine, but I think my best ‘tip’ would be that the generic (read: cheap) ones tend to work as well as the really expensive ones, so I don’t waste the money!
Kate July 26th, 2008 at 5:13 pm
Would love to win this contest. My current hair straightener just doesn’t cut it!
My tip is to use the small clear elastics when putting your hair in a ponytail. That way you can wrap a small bunch of hair around it to cover the band. Nice for when you want a fancy looking ponytail!

I have naturally curly hair. I love straightening it. My favorite hair tip is to comb curly hair with a super wide toothed comb following a wash. This is especially helpful with my daughter’s hair, because hers is curly too.

i have crazy curly hair and i live in south florida! ugh! i have to use gel all the time and avoid straightenin my hair as much as i can, even tho i looove how it looks when its straight; but the evil humidity kills it =[
my fav product is Frizz-Ease Hair Serum Extra Strength Formula! its the best anti frizz serum ive tried for when i attempt straightnin my hair. it lets the straight-ness last a lil less than 12 hours, but its better than anythin ive tried and can afford. i honestly need this straightner!
Lauren July 28th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
I’ts okay if you don’t enter me…I won last time and am very much enjoying my products…
But I wanted to share that I love AG’s Re-Coil. I have quite straight hair but when I scrunch a ton of this product in and blowdry with a diffuser, it actually almost makes it curly!
lauren c July 28th, 2008 at 8:23 pm
my new thing is to get out of the shower, hair wet put in my product (not sure what it even is) and let dry- I stopped combing my hair and the curls are fab and the frizz is gone….try it!!!!!!!!

Favorite hair product is good conditioner.
I hope I win!
Lauren July 29th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
It’s alright if you don’t enter me in the draw, but I wanted to share my favorite product. It’s ReCoil by AG. I have pretty straight hair but if I scrunch this into my wet hair and blowdry/diffuse, I actually have waves. Crazy!
Lauren July 29th, 2008 at 10:56 pm
But then…it would be great to win the flatiron!

Thanks Haley.
Emma July 30th, 2008 at 9:17 pm
My favourite hair product, right now, is ANY OLD SHAMPOO or perhaps even just WATER because getting to wash my hair is currently a bonus, a privilege, rather than a daily right.
And when I have the luxury of actually doing it, it looks better straightened!!

My fave product (right now) is Aveda’s sap moss. I love how it gives my hair some body/texture - I use it only at my roots in the crown area of my hair. Just LOVE it.
And I would LOVE this straightener to add to my collection! I seriously have several various straighteners under my bathroom sink… This one looks awesome though!

Multi-Tasking Mommy July 31st, 2008 at 7:39 am
I SO need a straightener, especially with all of these pregnancy hormones making my hair totally curly!!! Please, oh please, pick me!!!
My fav hair product has to be my HotHeads hairbrush. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a Hotheads website to share with you, but I did find a link where you can buy one….http://www.delineation.ca/catalog.aspx?line=124.
This hairbrush is the BEST brush I have ever owned. It’s pricey, at $50, but so worth it! It doesn’t catch your hair. The inner core heats up when drying your hair (as well as changing colour–hehe) to aid with the straightening. I just LOVE it!
Oh and as an extra…I also LOVE my Alterna Curls Shape Activator product. You see, I just can’t seem to fight the curls these days, so may as well embrace them! I really like Alterna Hair products, but the Curls one is my current fav!

Nutrogena purifying shampoo is by far my favorite product .. just use once a week and it makes your hair beautiful again after clorine from the pools, conditioners and other products that leave buildup on your hair! Thanks Haley-O .. hope I win!!
Julie August 2nd, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Desperate to win this!! 2 pregnancies wreaked havoc on my once gordeous straight hair!!!! My fav product has to be Johnson’s & Johnson’s baby shampoo. Love the smell.
Julie August 2nd, 2008 at 10:38 pm
p.s. sorry for the spelling errors and typo’s - i was up very early this morning straightening my hair -SERIOUSLY!
Traci August 15th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
My daughter is in desperate need of a new straightener!! I have looked everywhere for this straitener and i just cant afford the prices they want for it. The Infiniti Nano Silver would do wonders for her thick curly hair! I bet she would really appreciate it =)
I dont know what her favorite product is but mine would have to be my flathead hairbrush!
